Transeagle TE118 Features and Benefits: - All season traction - Enhanced controllability - Upgraded load durability Description: The Transeagle TE118 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS. This is a bias ply or diagonal tire. Due to the tire's internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. LOW PRICES ON NEW TIRES.
*Tread pattern & sidewall design may vary from pictures. For example, you can receive 3 tires in one day and the 4th one the next day or the day after, or one tire in one day and the second one day after. We understand that this is a big inconvenience for our buyers, however, this is ABSOLUTELY out of our control. The Transeagle TE118 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS. The tire offers great all season traction. The all season compound and the symmetric ribbed tread design increase the dry, wet, and winter weather grip. Their combination enables the tire to enhance the grip with the use of extra biting edges. The siping pattern provides a higher number of biting edges, while the compound keeps the rubber flexible.Circumferential and angled lateral grooves disperse water and slush from the footprint. This significantly improves the overall hydroplaning resistance. The symmetric ribbed tread design maintains the surface contact while the tires are in motion. This boosts the steering responsiveness and driving stability throughout the performance. In other words, the tire enhances the steering response time and accuracy to the towing vehicle's commands.
It upgrades the structure stability under the driving pressure affecting the tire. This makes sure the towing vehicle has full control over the trailer at all times. As a result, a safer towing experience is guaranteed. The TE118 enhances its load durability. The tire features a reinforced internal structure, which does not allow the tire to deform. This allows the tire to safely handle heavy loads, which makes it better for trailer applications. Smaller diagonal tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire's non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire's ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability. The photo is a representation of the tire's possible deformation, it does not represent the specific tire model, size, tread pattern and application.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. Thank you for your patience and understanding. FREE RETURN: Unsatisfied for any reason or just changed your mind? We always work with our Buyers to resolve any issue.
